on Friday 8th July, 2011 6:30 pm onwards at Multi Purpose Hall, India International Centre, New Delhi, India

Dr. K.N.Modi institute of pharmaceutical Alumni Association has organized their Pharmacy Alumni Meet in March, 2009. with great success wherein students from previous batches who were settled in various parts of India and abroad showed tremendous response and promised to extend their full co-operation for the betterment of the institute. The event provided a great opportunity for the present students to interact with their seniors who were well established in their respective field.

The institute also celebrated their annual freshet’s party on September, 2010 which is generally organized for giving welcome to Ist year UG students by their seniors. The Director of the Institute, Dr. R.K. Roy in his message to the students explained various carriers prospect in the filed of pharmacy and explain the role of pharmacist in Healthcare. During the event, the students performed various cultural activity including plays, dance, songs etc. in front of honorable Chief Guest and President Dr. K.N. Modi Foundation, Dr. D.K. Modi and Vice President Capt. Rajeev Saxena.

Students of Dr. KNMIPER have a long tradition of dominating various competitive examinations of national level like GATE (Pharmacy, GATE (Life science), GPAT, NIPER, MAT etc. In 2009, 37 students of the institute were qualified in GATE (2009) among which 05 students secured rank in top 100. In 2010 26 students have been qualified in GPAT 2010 out of which 08 students have been selected in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, (a pioneer institution run by Govt. of India). Apart from this numerous students are pursuing their post graduation in pharmacy in various central and other universities of India like BHU, SAGAR, Punjab university, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (Lucknow) etc. to name a few.

The faculty of Dr. KNMIPER has published over 50 research paper and review articles in various international journals in last two years. Mr. Anurag (Sr. Lecture) Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry has been nominated as one of the reviewer in ELSEVER “Journal of Bio-organic & medicinal chemistry” and “International research journal of Microbiology”.

This Institute was established to impart Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) for the first time in private sector in Uttar Pradesh after B.H.U. Pharmaceutics Deptt.( Pioneer in the field).This institute is affiliated to Madan Mohan Malviya technical Unversity, Lucknow. This is the first institute in U.P. after B.H.U. which is recognised by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.The Institute is also approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi.The Institute has many achievements to its credit e.g. (i) stduents who have passed out are doing their M.Pharma & Ph.D programme from India & abroad, (ii) already 600 students from the institute are in good job throughout the Country, (iii) a well documented library, fully equiped Laborataries and qualified teaching faculty. The Institute has a beautiful campus & excellent campus placement by companies like CIPLA, Hoechst, Dr.Reddy's Lab.,Ipca, Phizer and Ranbaxy etc.

The technical talent would enrich the national fabric and shall act as a driving force for transforming the country into a technology savvy nation.
